The Apocalypse Cafe: Pentecost

jr_qSigns of a great shift were around for those paying attention, and who understood the art of investigative triangulation.

The truth can only be seen when triangulated from many vantages, and so many of us became consumers of information in order that our own minds would perform the needed calculations.

It is a muscle that, like anything, can be trained.

Tomorrow is Pentecost. I was tortured by Catholicism as a kid, but I love Jesus. I know a good story when I see one, and the story of Jesus after he comes back from his 3 day detour into Hades is remarkable.

The shorthand is this: in the first days after Jesus came back to life, there were signs but no proof. His twelve disciples were being asked to move in a space of faith and trust. Thomas famously doubted it, and there were discussions around that which ensued.

(John 20:24–29): But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. ... Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.

Pentecost occurs on the 50th day of Jesus being arisen, 49 days after Easter, and commemorates the point at which this ‘trust’ and ‘faith’ were no longer necessary.

Pentecost marks the time when Jesus returned to apostles and then to the Son/Sun and the ‘Holy Spirit’ descended into the hearts of the apostles, and in this transpiring the apostles were imbued with a knowing of the true nature of God and the Universe and of Jesus.

No more guessing. And the way we can tell is that the apostles came out of hiding at that point and started universally preaching their experience. Something happened that was so strong and so unmistakable as to cause them all to go forth and sing a united song of ‘Love’.

No doubt that Patriots for the human spirit are seeing parallels.

But there is another message that should not be overlooked in this story. The first thing that Jesus tells his apostles when he sees his 12 chosen, the first words to come from his own mouth, are about forgiveness.

Forgiveness.

When Jesus spoke about forgiveness before in his teaching, he says that we should forgive people 70 times 7 times. Biblical scholars seem to have landed on an interpretation, given the math skills of the villagers at that time, that the point was to forgive more times that you can count.

But there is also a message.

If you look at the numerology in the equation, 70 actually reduces to 7, and so you have 49. Pentecost is exactly 49 days after Jesus arises. 49 days after Easter.

For those paying attention, I would say this:

You have been gifted with having triangulated the truth in a time when others could not see what you have surmised. You have believed without the need to see first-hand. Congratulations. Other’s have not been so fortunate as you. And there is a distinct possibility that this has caused you personal pain and stress.

You must forgive them, regardless. Giving before. Giving before they have had a chance to earn it. This is the way of the awakening timeline that we are graduating into.

Our ascension depends on it on forgiveness.

“Where we go one, we go all” is not just a saying. It’s a message. Discord and “I told you so” is not going to be for the win here, my fellow humans. Be gentle. Be kind. Treat other’s as you would want to be treated. FORGIVE them.

In peace.
